Reading Picture Books with Children: How to Shake Up Storytime and Get Kids Talking about What They See goes on sale today. In jsut a little while I will head over to sign stock for orders at The Eric Carle Museum Shop. Then, I am going to meet with my editors at Charlesbridge to work on more plans for events and publicity in 2016 and for the 2015 holiday season. And, we are also going to go out to dinner to celebrate! I am so grateful to everyone at Charlesbridge for all of the ways they helped me bring this book into the world.

Speaking of gratitude, when I showed my kids the finished book I shared the acknowledgements section with them so they could see their own names. “You sure do thank a lot of people,” Caroline (age 9) said, and it’s true! So, although I won’t go into all of those thanks again here, know that my heart is filled up and overflowing with gratitude to everyone who helped me bring this book into the world.
