The Bennington Free Library was the library I went to as a child. Now I am a patron of the Jones Library in Amherst, MA.

Reader to Reader For my bridal shower last year I asked guests to bring children’s books to donate to this organization. Then my family donated even more books this year http://www.carlemuseum.org/content/book-bus

The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art Speaking of The Carle, I’d love this place even if I hadn’t worked there for nearly a decade, and I try to support it in any way I can. My favorite way is to go there in person with my kids and leave with goodies from the Museum Shop.

Room to Read This was one of the organizations on the charity registry for our wedding last year.

First Book A great, and growing, organization that puts books into kids’ hands.

Reach Out and Read My own family has benefitted from this group, which helps doctors give children’s books at well-child visits.

We Need Diverse Books Yes. We sure do.
